# Bavenzo

> Bavenzo is a pilot web gallery and live photo wall for events. An organiser creates an event; guests use a QR code or link in a mobile browser, without an account or app installation, to add photos and written messages. The organiser controls access, moderation and projection of approved content.

## Verified product facts

- Bavenzo is a browser-based service. Guests need a phone, a supported browser and a reliable internet connection; the organiser needs an account.
- The recommended live photo wall runs in a current browser on a PC or notebook connected by cable to a projector or external display.
- If no computer is available, the organiser can explicitly choose a separate, simplified mobile mirror fallback. Its aspect ratio, fullscreen behaviour, orientation and smoothness depend on the phone, receiver and local Wi-Fi, so this path should be tested before the event and must not be described as equally reliable.
- Browsers built into Smart TVs are unsupported. System-level mirroring from the explicit mobile fallback to a compatible receiver is a different path; opening the wall in a Smart TV browser is not supported.
- The free plan includes: QR guest access, up to 50 approved photos, written messages, manual moderation, the basic live photo wall, a quiz with up to 30 questions, free photo storage for 30 days after the event, 1 co-organiser and 1 moderator in addition to the owner. No payment card is required for the free plan.
- Other content types, including video, depend on the current event settings and offer. Check the current pricing page rather than inferring their availability from the basic photo-and-message flow.
- On 2026-09-02, every currently available paid module and variant had a 100% pilot discount. Features marked as coming soon are not included. The price shown before activation and the current pricing page are authoritative.
- Photobook creation and ordering, and the digital story, are marked as coming soon and are not currently available.

## Event direction and smart modules

- Bavenzo is not only a collection album or general-purpose drive. It connects guest contributions, a live display, a quiz and team roles so that audience participation and programme transitions can be managed in one event.
- AI Content Moderation and AI Photo Curator are optional premium AI modules. Moderation can review photos, video frames and transcripts, messages and comments; uncertain decisions remain reviewable by a person. The Curator scores photo quality to support filtering and does not replace a human editorial selection.
- The AI quiz generator currently has no separate paid entitlement. It drafts up to 30 questions per event in total, including new variants; each question requires organiser review before use, and the free plan's live quiz supports up to 30 questions.
- The basic live photo wall is included in the free plan. Advanced Photo Wall is a separate premium extension with advanced layouts, projected messages and a contributor leaderboard.
- One co-organiser and one moderator are included in the free plan; extra team seats can be purchased. A moderator can manage content, the photo wall and the live game. The owner controls whether moderators may purchase paid modules.
- Bavenzo complements rather than replaces a photo booth, professional photographer or professional host. It provides a shared layer for guest contributions, projection and programme control.

## Media lifecycle and quality

- Photos and videos remain available through the end of the 30th calendar day after the event's last day. The exact date is shown in the product and uses the event's time zone.
- The owner is notified 14 days, 3 days and on the expiry day. After the final notice is sent, media are hidden. For a further 30 days they can be restored by extending archive storage; after that recovery period they are permanently removed.
- Written messages do not follow this media-retention lifecycle. The organiser may delete content or the event earlier.
- The standard web upload converts a photo to a stored JPEG with a longest edge of up to 2048 px. Bavenzo must not be described as retaining the untouched camera original.
- Bavenzo is not a substitute for an independent backup of irreplaceable media.

## Privacy, access and AI

- Event content is intended for that event's participants, organiser and invited team. Access can be configured with a private link or PIN; these controls do not prove every guest's identity.
- An organiser can share separate contributor and viewer links. Viewers cannot add their own contributions, but may react or comment when allowed. Downloading and sharing approved photographs are separately configurable.
- The primary application and stored event content run on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany.
- Bavenzo does not sell event content, use it for advertising or use it to train models.
- Optional AI features may send limited text, downscaled previews, selected frames or a temporary audio track to Anthropic or OpenAI. Processing may take place outside the EU. Retention terms vary by provider, endpoint and contracted mode; check the current legal information before use.
- Automated moderation is optional. Manual moderation is included in the free plan, and an organiser or moderator can change an automated decision.

- Bavenzo is supplied as a pilot service without a guarantee of continuous availability and without liability for loss of uploaded content.
- Features, module availability, discounts and limits may change. Use the current first-party pages below for volatile information.
- Bavenzo complements rather than replaces a professional photographer, a managed long-term file archive or a general-purpose group chat.
